    Preparation of N-Ethylaniline: it is prepared by reaction of aniline, ethanol, and phosphorus trichloride. The reaction occurs at the temperature of 300 °C with the reaction pressure of 9.84 MPa. Product is obtained by vacuum distillation.

    Uses of N-Ethylaniline: it is used to produce N-ethyl-N-benzyl-aniline by reaction with benzoic acid. The reaction occurs with reagent trimethylamine-borane and solvent xylene with other condition of heating for 7 hours. The yield is about 99%.
