N,4-Dimethyl-N-(3-phenylprop-2-ynyl)benzylamine and N-(methyl(p-tolyl)amino)methyl)benzamide are formed by iron-catalyzed oxidative C-C coupling with phenacetylene and benzamide in the presence of di-tert-butyl peroxide, respectively.
