Characteristics and uses
In the polyurethane industry, BDMA is a catalyst for polyester-type polyurethane block soft foam, polyurethane rigid foam, polyurethane sheets and adhesive coatings. It is mainly used for rigid foam to make polyurethane foam have good early fluidity and uniform cells. There is good adhesion between the foam and the base material.In the field of organic synthesis, BDMA is mainly used as a catalyst for the synthesis of dehydrogenated halogens in organic drugs, a corrosion inhibitor, an acidic neutralizer, an accelerator for electron microscope section embedding, etc.BDMA is also used to synthesize quaternary ammonium salts and produce cationic surface-active powerful fungicides, etc.
