p-Toluidine, an organic compound, colorless, glossy flaky crystals, slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether, benzene, and hydrochloric acid. It is toxic and is a strong methemoglobin forming agent. It can irritate the bladder and urethra and cause hematuria.
